In development
Aeron ATC
An AI air traffic controller you talk to by voice, in English with FAA phraseology. It replaces the simulator’s built-in ATC and works with Aeron Copilot.

What it is
You speak and it answers like a controller. It negotiates (“unable”, “say again”, requests for altitude, direct or runway), reacts to what your aircraft does, and vectors consistently to the final.
A controller that does not improvise
No clearance number is ever generated by the language model.
The controller is deterministic: strips, sequencing, vectors, monitoring and negotiation follow rules, so clearances stay consistent. The language model only turns your speech into a structured message.
Voice and radio
- Push-to-talk: you speak with a side mouse button.
- Speech recognition for what you say.
- Synthesised voices for each position: delivery, ground, tower, departure, centre and approach.
- Radio effects: limited bandwidth, noise by distance and squelch.
- Half-duplex, like a real radio.
- Aeron Copilot speaks on the same radio while it flies.
FAA data
Public FAA navigation data (procedures, frequencies and centres) is the foundation.
The first functional flight
A US domestic flight of about three hours. The surrounding traffic is audible only, as “ghost” pilots. Visible AI traffic is a later step.
What is done and what is ahead
Aeron ATC is in development. This is where it stands.

Together with Aeron Copilot
Aeron Copilot speaks on the same radio while it flies. Together they cover the two voices of a flight: the pilot and the controller.
Also planned
After Aeron ATC, each with its own design: Aeron Traffic, visible AI aircraft that follow the controller, and Aeron Crew, the cabin crew. Both are only planned.
